Yoga with rabbits in Ostrava

An hour of gentle yoga while ten pet rabbits hop freely around the room. It takes place at Fit&Fun Studio in Ostrava-Mariánské Hory, costs 499 CZK and the group is never bigger than 12 people. You can call it bunny yoga, pet yoga or yoga with animals. Here it is all the same class.

What happens in the class

The class lasts 60 minutes and has three parts:

• 0–5 minutes: a short introduction to the rules, so that both you and the rabbits feel safe.
• 5–40 minutes: gentle hatha yoga led by the instructor. The rabbits are in the room the whole time.
• 40–60 minutes: calm time with the rabbits. You can stroke them, feed them and take photos.

No experience is needed. The instructor shows every pose and offers an easier version. The goal is to slow down, not to hold a perfect pose.

The rabbits come first

We work with ten pet rabbits. They have their own quiet zones where they can retreat at any time, and they receive veterinary care. Only the less timid rabbits take part in classes. Contact is voluntary for the animals and for you, so we never promise cuddles. If no rabbit comes to you, it is simply its choice.

Price, place and getting there

• Price: 499 CZK per person, paid online by card when you book.
• Group size: 12 people at most.
• When: usually Saturday at 10:30, but not every Saturday. The current dates are always on the booking page.
• Where: Fit&Fun Studio, Tovární 486/7, 709 00 Ostrava-Mariánské Hory.
• By tram: stop Daliborova, about 100 metres or a two-minute walk away. Lines 3, 4, 8, 18 and 19.
• By car: free parking right next to the studio.

What to bring

Just comfortable clothes and socks. We provide mats, blankets and cushions. We practise barefoot or in socks. Please skip strong perfume, rabbits have a sensitive nose.

How to book on the Czech booking page

The booking page and the payment are in Czech only. This is how it works:

1. Open the booking page and pick a date. Click Rezervovat (Book).
2. Fill in Vaše jméno (first name), Vaše příjmení (surname), Váš email and Váš telefon (phone).
3. Click Rezervovat a zaplatit (Book and pay) and pay by card. We hold your place for 35 minutes while you pay.
4. You will receive an email with a QR code. Show it at the studio and you are in.

Gift vouchers and private groups

You can give the class as a gift. A gift voucher costs 499 CZK, arrives by email and is valid for 6 months. The recipient picks the date themselves.
